On August 30, 2026, marking the International Day of the Victims of Enforced Disappearances, a large-scale protest was held outside the British Prime Minister’s residence at 10 Downing Street in London UK, hosted by the Jeay Sindh Freedom Movement (JSFM). A large number of Sindhi, Baloch, Pashtun, Kashmiri, Saraiki, Gilgiti and Baltistani people who had travelled from different cities across the United Kingdom participated in the demonstration.

The protesters held placards and banners and demanded the release and recovery of political activists and ordinary citizens who they alleged had been forcibly disappeared by the Pakistani state. They called for the immediate restoration of their freedom and an end to enforced disappearances.

Protesters Raise Concerns Over Enforced Disappearances (Video Report Presented By Radio Voice of Sindh London)
Speakers said that the human rights situation in Pakistan is worsening. Pakistani agencies, including ISI, MI, CTD, FIA, Levies, Rangers, FC, Army and others, are kidnapping political and human rights activists and ordinary people. Ustad Qamber Wahid, Ali Wazir, Dr. Mahrang Baloch, Sohail Raza Bhatti, along with thousands of others, are among those missing from Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and other areas.
The protesters appealed to the British Prime Minister to pressure the Pakistani government to release those subjected to enforced disappearance and to act in accordance with human rights and international laws.
