The Jeay Sindh Freedom Movement (JSFM) strongly condemns the brutal use of force by Pakistani state institutions against the peaceful protest organized by the Baloch Yakjehti Committee. On 21nd March 2025, state forces opened indiscriminate fire on unarmed protesters, resulting in the deaths of two activists and leaving several others injured. This reprehensible act of state violence is a blatant violation of human rights and an attempt to suppress the legitimate demands of the Baloch people.

The Baloch nation has long endured systematic oppression, including enforced disappearances, extrajudicial killings, and the violent suppression of peaceful demonstrations. These actions reflect the Pakistani state’s colonial policies aimed at denying the Baloch people their fundamental rights and freedoms. The use of live ammunition against peaceful protesters is a clear violation of international human rights laws and must be condemned in the strongest terms.
The sacrifices of the Baloch people in their struggle for freedom and justice are undeniable. The international community, including human rights organizations and global institutions, must take immediate action to hold the Pakistani state accountable for these atrocities. We urge the United Nations, the European Union, and other international bodies to investigate these crimes and pressure the Pakistani government to end its campaign of repression against the Baloch people.

JSFM stands in full solidarity with the Baloch Yakjehti Committee and supports their call for a strike in Balochistan. We call upon all oppressed nations and the international community to unite against state-sponsored violence and support the Baloch people’s struggle for justice, freedom, and self-determination.
