The rally also condemned the brutal torture inflicted on national activists Waqar Khushk, Mumtaz Soomro, Dilbar Dero, Badshah Balo, Adnan Balo, Wazir Khushk, Sabir Karal, and Nabil Gabol in Karachi Jail, and the continued abuse they are facing after being transferred to Sukkur and Hyderabad Jails.

The arrest and disappearance of JSMM activist Wajid Jagirani from Dubai is a matter of grave concern. We strongly fear that he may be handed over to Pakistani state agencies, where his life will be in serious danger. Wajid Jagirani is a peaceful political activist who has been tirelessly advocating for his homeland and nation with sincerity and dedication. We appeal to the United Nations, Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, the British government, and other international human rights organizations to take immediate and effective action to save Wajid Jagirani’s life. We also urge the Dubai government to prevent his extradition to Pakistan, as such an act could endanger his life.
