We strongly condemn the brutal crackdown by Pakistani security forces, where Dr. Mahrang Baloch and several others have been forcibly abducted and disappeared. Dead bodies have been seized, and innocent women and children have been subjected to state violence. This barbaric act is yet another example of Pakistan’s systematic human rights violations against oppressed nations. The enforced disappearances of activists, desecration of bodies, and violent suppression of peaceful protesters expose the true face of state terrorism in Pakistan. The Pakistani regime is using abductions and brutality as tools of repression, but history has proven that no power can suppress the truth forever.

The Jeay Sindh Freedom Movement (JSFM) strongly condemns the brutal use of force by Pakistani state institutions against the peaceful protest organized by the Baloch Yakjehti Committee. On 21nd March 2025, state forces opened indiscriminate fire on unarmed protesters, resulting in the deaths of two activists and leaving several others injured. This reprehensible act of state violence is a blatant violation of human rights and an attempt to suppress the legitimate demands of the Baloch people.

Geneva, March 19, 2025 – The World Sindhi Congress (WSC) organised a large protest in front of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) in Geneva during its 58th Session to raise awareness about the environmental destruction caused by the construction of canals on the River Indus and the ongoing human rights violations in Sindh. The protest was attended by Sindhi representatives, exiled leaders from Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, as well as human rights defenders from Bangladesh and various European countries.
