Karachi, Pakistan – On the night of 26 February 2026, at approximately 11:30 PM, the ancestral home of Muhammad Usama Soomro, United Kingdom Coordinator of Jeay Sindh Freedom Movement (JSFM), located in Malir river village town ship malir , Karachi, Sindh, was reportedly raided in an incident that has caused significant fear and distress to his family.
According to family members present at the time, approximately 10 to 15 masked and armed individuals, believed to be linked to Pakistani security or intelligence agencies, entered the residence without presenting any warrant or legal documentation. The individuals allegedly questioned the family regarding Muhammad Usama Soomro’s political activities in the United Kingdom and accused him of working against the interests of the state.
During the raid, the house was searched thoroughly and personal belongings were examined. Family members reported feeling intimidated and threatened throughout the operation. Mobile phones were checked, and documents within the house were inspected. The family has further stated that certain cash and personal documents were missing after the individuals departed.
Before leaving the premises, the individuals allegedly warned that Muhammad Usama Soomro should cease his political activities and present himself to the authorities. The family reports that they were threatened with serious consequences if these demands were not met.
