Pakistan continues to forcibly disappear Sindhi activists, journalists, and human rights defenders, using fear and repression to silence those who demand justice and self-determination. At the same time, the state is carrying out the illegal construction of six canals on the Indus River, diverting Sindh’s water to Punjab and leaving millions of Sindhis without access to water for agriculture and daily survival. This is an economic and environmental attack on Sindh, threatening its very existence.

On March 15, 2025, the World Sindhi Congress (WSC) organized a protest outside the Pakistan Embassy in London, highlighting both the illegal construction of six canals on the Indus River and the enforced disappearances of Sindhi nationalists. JSFM Chairman Sohail Abro attended the protest and delivered a speech, exposing Pakistan’s crimes against Sindh and demanding justice for the victims.

JSFM Calls for Immediate International Action

The Jeay Sindh Freedom Movement (JSFM) urgently calls upon the United Nations, the British Parliament, Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, and all international human rights organizations to take immediate notice of Pakistan’s ongoing oppression. We demand:
1. The immediate release of Taiib Laghari and all forcibly disappeared Sindhi activists.
2. An independent international investigation into Pakistan’s policy of enforced disappearances.
3. A halt to the illegal construction of six canals on the Indus River, which threatens Sindh’s survival.
4. Recognition of Sindh’s right to self-determination and an end to Pakistan’s colonial exploitation of Sindh’s resources.

International Community Must Take Notice The Jeay Sindh Freedom Movement (JSFM) has urged the United Nations, environmental organizations, human rights groups, and international media to take immediate notice of Sindh’s ongoing environmental crisis. The illegal canals on the Indus River are not just a violation of Sindh’s rights but also a serious ecological disaster that will have long-term consequences for the region. The people of Sindh refuse to accept these injustices. The resistance is growing, and Sindh is rising! Sindh Rejects These Injustices! Sindh Will Resist! Sindh Will Survive!
“We appeal to the international community to take urgent notice.”

Sindh is under attack—its people are being abducted, and its water is being stolen. The world cannot remain silent while Pakistan continues its crimes against the Sindhi nation. JSFM will continue its struggle for Sindhudesh until Sindh achieves freedom, justice, and self-determination.

Sohail Abro
Chairman
Jeay Sindh Freedom Movement (JSFM)
